Minister Dekker opens Seniors Cafe JulianaPlaza

On Wednesday June 2, Minister Sander Dekker and Councilwoman Kavita Parbhudayal opened the Seniors Café - a new meeting place for the elderly in the neighborhood. The Residentie Orkest was invited by JulianaPlaza to musically open the Seniors Café.

Stage Your Voice participant Nadia

Nadia (21) was two weeks old when she was taken away from her mother by a social worker. Before she was 18, she had lived at 14 addresses. With her piano piece and spoken word she wants to encourage young people in similar situations and make clear to government and institutions what she thinks should be done differently.
