One Minute Symphony - Thomas Wenas

Composition student Thomas Wenas wrote the Last One Minute Symphony of season 2024/2025. As a subject he chose the bombing of the Bezuidenhout district of The Hague, now eighty years ago. On Friday May 23, the premiere will be heard in Amare.

Agnes Houtsmuller to retire

This week, first violinist Agnes Houtsmuller plays her Last Concerts with the Residentie Orkest. For nearly forty years, a third of the orchestra's age, she played with them. "You know the moment will come one day, but still I will miss the orchestra, the colleagues, making music together and especially the music very much."

The Residentie Orkest on tour

In May, the Residentie Orkest will travel to Ljubljana and Salzburg for four concerts. A great opportunity to strengthen the team spirit of our musicians, share our music and put the orchestra in the international spotlight.

Meet trumpeter Erwin ter Bogt
