With its new album *Menschheit*, Challenge Classics presents a special selection of orchestral works by Erwin Schulhoff, performed by the Residentie Orkest s of The Hague under the direction of Jun Märkl and featuring mezzo-soprano Barbara Kozelj.

Violinist Hester van der Vlugt has been a member of the Residentie Orkest since 2024. She explains how making music is all about playing together: moving together, feeling together, and staying connected to the music—and to one another—from start to finish.
