"One Minute Symphony" Brings Two Orchestras Together

What can you convey in sixty seconds? Surprisingly a lot, as the One Minute Symphony has shown for years. This season, the project is taking on an international dimension. The “ Residentie Orkest ” and the Taiwan Philharmonic are exchanging compositions by young composers.

Music for Peace

On the weekend leading up to the International Day of Peace (September 21), the Residentie Orkest will perform at various venues in The Hague and Leiden. With music that reflects on freedom, hope, loss, and solidarity, the orchestra joins in a weekend centered on peace and justice.

With its new album *Menschheit*, Challenge Classics presents a special selection of orchestral works by Erwin Schulhoff, performed by the Residentie Orkest s of The Hague under the direction of Jun Märkl and featuring mezzo-soprano Barbara Kozelj.
