On Nov. 17, we will play Arefeh Hekmatpanah's One Minute Symphony. She will tell more about her work herself.

Star violinist Bomsori Kim performs solo in Tchaikovsky

Just last summer, she performed with our own chief conductor Anja Bihlmaier at the world-famous BBC Proms: South Korea's top violinist Bomsori Kim (b. 1989). Beauty Talk

How can beauty be defined? How does it move us? Does it exist? We know that when we experience beauty suddenly, it envelops us with happiness. But why it happens, and how, that remains a mystery. Led by Yuki Kho, these three experts shine their light on this mysterious phenomenon. With their very different areas of expertise, this promises to be an exciting conversation.

Top cellist Camille Thomas debuts at the Residentie Orkest

Charismatic, inspiring and a true storyteller. The French-Belgian top cellist Camille Thomas (1988) is it all. She is coming to The Hague for the first time and will delight with her Stradivarius Amare in Elgar's glowing Cello Concerto. "My talent is making music and with that I can comfort people," she says.
