The Residentie Orkest and DI-RECT are performing concerts together!

DI-RECT and Residentie Orkest The Hague will give concerts together in February 2023. On Feb. 4 they will perform together at AFAS Live Amsterdam, Feb. 12 at Mainstage Den Bosch and on Feb. 18 at Martiniplaza Groningen.

Crystal-clear piano playing and expressive pedals

In Austria, she is praised for her Mozart interpretations, and pianist Yeol Eum Son does not go unnoticed outside the country either. The South Korean has not often been heard in the Netherlands, but that is about to change now that she is artist in residence at the Residentie Orkest. 'After many short-lived relationships, I am happy to enter into this long-term commitment.'

Violinist Baiba Skride on Beethoven's Violin Concerto

Since Baiba Skride won the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2001, the Latvian violinist has played on all major music stages. In season 2019/2020 she was artist in residence of the Residentie Orkest but due to the worldwide corona pandemic not all concerts could take place. She is therefore very much looking forward to Beethoven's Violin Concerto next May 14.
