Our new contrabassoon

The Residentie Orkest recently inaugurated a new contrabassoon , to which the Friends of the Residentie Orkest contributed. Erik Reinders, double bassoonist, tells us more about it!

Artist in residence Josef Špaček is looking forward to returning to the Netherlands

Czech violinist and former child prodigy Josef Špaček won many awards and was concertmaster of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra for ten years. Nowadays, he stands only in front of the orchestra and focuses entirely on his solo career. On May 3, he will solo in Berg's heavenly Violin Concerto.
