Beethoven's 'Egmont' by the Residentie Orkest and The National Theatre

At the Sunday matinee Oct. 27, 2:15 p.m. at Amare , the Residentie Orkest olv Richard Egarr, in a special collaboration with The National Theatre, plays Beethoven's Egmont. Joris Smit is the narrator, the beautifully lyrical voice is by soprano Nikki Treurniet. Also on the program are Beethoven's Overture "Coriolan" and Schumann's Violin Concerto with soloist Tobias Feldmann.

Hello Cello Day

The Cello Biennale and several local partners are organizing the Hello Cello Days in four cities: a musical mini-festival for the whole family with master classes, a children's performance, workshops, trial lessons and instrument builders. The highlight of the Hello Cello Day is the performance of the Hello Cello Orchestra featuring young cellists from the region.
