Review of Classics with Jan Willem de Vriend

With violinist Maria Milstein & violist Hannah Strijbos

On Friday, April 5 and Sunday, April 7, the overwhelmingly beautiful Sinfonia concertante by Mozart with violinist Maria Milstein and our own Principal viola Hannah Strijbos sounded in a crowded Amare . An experience!

The Residentie Orkest was conducted by the well-known Dutch conductor Jan Willem de Vriend. In addition to Mozart, he conducted Haydn's Last symphony, No. 104, nicknamed "London. Friday also saw the sound of Beethoven's Overture 'Coriolan' and the world premiere of Lydia Gardiner's One Minute Symphony: Of Warped Wood and Wax.
