Janet Krause is leaving the Residentie Orkest

Janet Krause will bid farewell to the Residentie Orkest at the end of this month. The Principal second violins will have spent more than 40 years at the front of the orchestra. "I am a rich person with everything I have experienced," she said.

Dutch composers in resistance

You cannot silence the urge to make music. Even in bitter times, some Dutch composers resisted. On Wednesday evening, Nov. 9, we honor them with the special chamber music concert Vrijheid in the Nieuwe Kerk in The Hague.

Friendship of all times

Each Friend is connected to the Residentie Orkest in their own way. Some have been coming to the Residentie Orkest since the school concerts conducted by Willem van Otterloo, others are discovering a city of dance, theater, film and the Residentie Orkest in The Hague. Two Friends in the spotlight.

Residentie Orkest plays for neighborhood residents Benoordenhout

On Saturday September 17, the Residentie Orkest visited the Benoordenhout neighborhood of The Hague with Music at your doorstep . Over 120 local residents listened attentively in the Duinzichtkerk to works for flute and harp by Bach, Fauré, Andriessen and Debussy, among others.

Painting of Love

Together with singer Fay Claassen, we are releasing the single 'Painting of Love'. The song was written by Fay and is a tribute to her father, Nijmegen artist Ger van de Geer. Fay has lovingly accompanied him in his life with dementia for over ten years.
