Liesbeth Pezie-Baan has lived in The Hague since 1970 and is a loyal visitor to the Residentie Orkest. Out of love for art and culture, she included the orchestra in her will in 2016. With her legacy, Liesbeth hopes to contribute to the musical experience of future generations. "Music is an indispensable enrichment.

Young composer writes new work for Prinsjesdag

At the request of the States General, Irish composer Franki Dodwell (31) has written a composition especially for the United Assembly at Prinsjesdag. 'Parade' will be performed by the brass quintet of the Residentie Orkest during the King's departure after the speech from the throne.

A new grand piano as an anniversary gift!

In November 2024, Residentie Orkest will celebrate its 120th anniversary. This festive anniversary will be used as an opportunity for all Friends to give a special gift to the orchestra: a new grand piano. But why is a new grand piano needed?
