Amateur art in Amare

Saturday , May 10

Join the Amateur Arts Festival on Saturday afternoon, May 10, during the Volunteer Market "Together for a more beautiful The Hague" at Open Amare.

After a successful first edition in 2024, PEP The Hague, in cooperation with the Residentie Orkest, Cultuurschakel and Open Amare , is organizing another unique event on Saturday May 10, from 13.00-17.00 hrs. An extensive citywide Volunteer Market & Amateur Arts Festival.

Under the motto "Together for a more beautiful The Hague," this afternoon we will explore the power of folk music and folk dance, among other things, combined with the fun and connection of making music and singing together. Several amateur music and dance companies will perform. Be welcome to attend a rehearsal of the Residentie Orkest. Or come to the Cultureschakel question hour.

"Welcome to a public rehearsal of the Residentie Orkest where Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and Brahms' Variations on a theme by Haydn will be rehearsed."

The Residentie Orkest coordinates the Amateur Arts Festival. With various social projects into the city and together with social partners, the Residentie Orkest wants to bring all residents of The Hague in touch with music, inspire them and connect them with each other. We believe in the power of music as an instrument to realize positive change.

Under the motto 'Together for a more beautiful The Hague - Together at Home' we will explore the power of folk music and folk dance combined with the fun and connection of playing and singing together.
