"A concert that provokes thought."
Review of Spectacular Symphonic

A world premiere for The Hague during the 72nd edition of The Hague Festival Dag in de Branding. The eminent Dutch composer Klaas de Vries wrote the monumental orchestral work Cada Instante for the Residentie Orkest . On the Amare stage were more than a hundred musicians from the Residentie Orkest kest and students from the Royal Conservatory, a never-before-seen number. Also sounding were Kurtág's deep, reflective Stele and Beethoven's expressive Fourth Piano Concerto with soloist Hannes Minnaar.
The Residentie Orkest was led by our emerging artist in residence Chloe Rooke. According to NRC , she led the orchestra "convincingly through the intoxicating score with broad, clear strokes." The "supple and sensitive playing of Hannes Minnaar" was also memorialized. "A concert that provokes thought."
