Dineke Mulock Houwer-Bunnik passed away

We received the sad news that, after a short illness, Dineke Mulock Houwer - Bunnik (1941-2025) passed away on Friday March 7, 2025. Dineke was vice president of the Residentie Orkest from 2003 to 2013 and was invaluable to the orchestra in that role.

Looking back on International Women's Day

Around International Women's Day (March 8), the Residentie Orkest traditionally joined beautiful activities in the neighborhood with its social programming. This year we went out with two ensembles to three different locations.

Review of the Valentine's Concert

Last weekend Anja Bihlmaier gave her Last concerts with the Residentie Orkest as our chief conductor. Beautiful music by Strauss and Ravel sounded in a full Amare and artist in residence, cellist Jean-Guihen Queyras, played the stars from heaven in Haydn's Second cello concerto. A retrospective!
