Sven Arne Tepl, director of the Residentie Orkest: "I have known Jean-Guihen for twenty years. He has been a regular guest with us and he understands the art of working chamber music with the orchestra. He is really interested in the musicians. Every collaboration with him is a celebration. In the process, he has fantastic ideas. Who else would dare to adapt Bartók's Viola Concerto for cello."
