Peace Concerts 2025

To conclude the annual Just Peace Open Day on Sunday Sept. 21, a wind quintet of the Residentie Orkest will perform a unique classical concert in the Amphitheater of the National Monument Oranjehotel. The day before, the commemoration 80 years of the Oranjehotel will take place.

Artist in residence Bomsori Kim: 'Music is my way of making a positive difference'

In 2023, South Korean violinist Bomsori Kim made her debut with the Residentie Orkest in The Hague and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw. The musical click was so strong that she was almost immediately invited as artist in residence for the 2025-2026 season. 'It went completely naturally, we felt each other musically flawlessly.'

Ringing in a new musical chapter with Chief Conductor Jun Märkl

When conductor Jun Märkl isn't exploring the Alaskan wilderness in his camper van, you'll find him on the staff of the world's best-known orchestras. This summer he joins as chief conductor of the Residentie Orkest, of which he has been a regular guest conductor since 2021.

Participating, experiencing and making music with the musicians of the orchestra – that's music education at the Residentie Orkest.
