Around International Day of Peace, the “ Residentie Orkest ” demonstrated at various locations in The Hague how music can move people, bring them together, and create space for reflection.

Music from the “ Residentie Orkest ” was also performed at the Oranjehotel National Monument. During the 81st commemoration, brass musicians paid a musical tribute at a site where history is tangibly present. Later, the orchestra returned for the annual peace concert in the amphitheater, as part of the Just Peace Open Day. At this special location, music, remembrance, and community came together once again. The commemoration can still be viewed on Omroep West.

A special moment was the performance during “Hope Box: Piece for World Peace” at the Kunstmuseum Den Haag. On an afternoon where art, music, spoken word, and ballet came together, the participants called for world peace. Amid this colorful gathering, musicians from the Residentie Orkest demonstrated how music can contribute to a message of hope and solidarity in a direct and human way.
