Dvořák 5
This concert is part of the RO NOW series.
RO NOW brings even more life to the classical concert evening. Before the performance, our host, together with the orchestra, will share a few brief, insightful examples to prepare your ears for what’s to come: an always surprising program that’s sure to make your weekend shine. Feel free to stick around after the concert: the music continues in the foyer, the drinks are chilled, and the first round is on us.
This concert reveals two sides of the same world: the inner voice in Mahler and the open horizon in Dvořák. In the selectedRückert Lieder, Barbara Kozelj makes every emotion tangible with her warm mezzo, supported by Antony Hermus’s transparent accompaniment. Then Dvořák’s pastoralSymphony No. 5draws you outdoors: playful, sunny, and imbued with the Bohemian landscape. An evening that lets the human spirit speak from within and nature resound in all its splendor.
