Klaas de Vries, one of Holland's greatest composers, turned eighty last summer. AND he has written a major new orchestral work that will be given its world premiere by the Residentie Orkest on March 21, 2025.

Twice a year, 25 Master students from the Royal Conservatory of Music play in a major production by the Residentie Orkest in the Side by Side project. What exactly does this collaboration entail and what does it mean for the students themselves?
