On April 25, the Residentie Orkest The Hague presents a unique evening in PAARD, where two iconic artists join forces: Philippe Elan and Eric Vaarzon Morel.

Philippe Elan, one of the Netherlands' greatest chansonniers performs the unforgettable chansons of Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour and Jacques Brel. Eric Vaarzon Morel, the uncrowned king of flamenco, adds his virtuoso guitar playing to this special evening. His playing is a true explosion of passion and technique.

Together with the Residentie Orkest they will provide an evening full of passion and fire led by conductor Jurjen Hempel. Philippe and Eric play separate sets and also appear together on stage where the fiery rhythms of flamenco and the melancholy melodies of the chanson meet.
