Together with Rufus Wainwright, the Residentie Orkest how pop and classical music can reinforce each other. Grand orchestral sounds, intimate songs, and Wainwright's unmistakable flair resulted in concerts full of emotion, humor, and theatrical beauty.

A special One Minute Symphony for the special Close to Classics concerts. Inspiration for this came from a conversation between composition student Thijmen Krijgsman and conductor Chloe Rooke. You can hear how that encounter was translated into notes on January 24 and 25 at Amare.
