What are you going to listen to?
This fairy tale is about a prince who falls in love with a beautiful swan princess, Odette. She is enchanted by an evil wizard and can only become a human if someone truly loves her. But the wizard wants to prevent that from happening and sends his daughter, who looks exactly like the swan princess, to the prince's ball. Can the prince recognize the real swan princess?
Swan Lake is a beautiful performance with music by Tchaikovsky. He uses different melodies to express the characters and their feelings. For example, there is a sad and graceful theme when Odette introduces herself to the prince, a cheerful and sparkling waltz when the prince celebrates his birthday, and an exciting and menacing motif when the magician makes his plans. The enchanting puppetry, animations, scenery and acting bring this wonderful fairy tale to life.
Are you also coming to play in our Instrument Garden?
Would you like to try out different instruments? Come honk, ping and drum along with the musicians of the orchestra. The Instrument Garden will be open prior to the morning concert and after the afternoon concert. Check the Schedule for details.
