And that was certainly the concert around the theme Eighty Years Later with violin soloist Maria Milstein and conductor Chloe Rooke. From Shostakovich's poignant tribute to Hartmann's fiery protest and Haydn's reflective conclusion, this concert brought contemplation and connection. An evening to be stilled - for now, for tomorrow, forever.
