What a festive start to the new season with our traditional “ Prinsjesdag Concert ”! Children from The Residents Academy, “ The Residents Stadsorkest ,” and the talent class of the Johan de Witt School Group opened the evening together with the “ Residentie Orkest ” in a packed “ Concert Hall.” Afterward, violinist Noa Wildschut shone in Saint-Saëns’s sparkling Third Violin Concerto. Under the baton of guest conductor Andrew Grams, the evening concluded with the irresistible music from Bizet’s *Carmen*, full of fiery dances, theatrical tension, and, of course, the famous *Toreador* melody.

Afterward, everyone raised a toast to the new season in the foyer. It was a festive evening during which the * Residentie Orkest * once again brought musical vibrancy to * Prinsjesdag * in The Hague. Relive the evening with these beautiful photos, taken by Jan Rijk.
