Last Saturday , the Residentie Orkest Saturday in Residentie Orkest new year with a festive New Year's concert featuring festive music by Poulenc, Berlioz, Bizet, and others. Under the inspiring leadership of Mei-Ann Chen, a program unfolded in which French flair and festive sounds alternated. Soloist Selina Ott shone as a trumpet player, her virtuoso playing adding sparkle to the evening. The presentation was in the hands of Sander Zwiep.
