Two musical worlds PAARD at PAARD : the Residentie Orkest singer-songwriter Blaudzun. His characteristic pop songs took on a new dimension in symphonic arrangements, with the orchestra and band gradually merging into a single sound. String players, wind players, and band members filled the stage, interspersed with orchestral interludes by Vivaldi, Pärt, Khachaturian, and others. The result was an evening in which pop and symphony reinforced each other. As 3voor12 Den Haag wrote: "This marriage between Blaudzun and the Residentie Orkest more than one evening."
