In 2027, Cinema in Concert will bring one of the most iconic film concerts of all time back to AFAS Live:*The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring* in Concert. In this spectacular production, director Peter Jackson’s classic film will be shown in its entirety on the big screen, while composer Howard Shore’s award-winning score will be performed live by a symphony orchestra and choir.

This concert series marks the 25th anniversary of*The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring*. In April 2027, the production will return to the Netherlands, where theResidentie Orkest, together with the Nederlands Concertkoor and Nieuw Vocaal Amsterdam, will once again perform the music in all its glory at AFAS Live in Amsterdam.
