In Utrecht
In hisThird Symphony, Rachmaninoff turns Romanticism inside out. As never before, he works his magic with rich timbres and orchestral harmonies. He manages to tap into the deepest emotional layers. With great enthusiasm, the renowned American conductor Dennis Russell Davies takes on this dream project. And in the process, he presents the Dutch premiere of Philip Glass’sMishima Concertofor piano and orchestra.
