An underwater musical adventure
Little Neptune (4+)
“I’m the ruler of the sea! Of all the fish and seagulls!” Teuntje is the daughter of the great Neptune, ruler of the vast ocean. She wants to be just as big and strong as her father, but he still won’t let her do everything he does. How annoying! But just as Teuntje is secretly playing with his trident, it is stolen by Dolf & Rolf the Wave. Will she manage to get her father’s weapon back before he finds out?
In Little Neptune, Teuntje teaches you that you don’t have to solve every challenge on your own. The concert is about daring, working together, and discovering... and that help can sometimes come from unexpected places. Together with conductor Chloe Rooke and the Residentie Orkest , the musical theater company Jansen & De Boer Residentie Orkest how each instrument has its own unique sound and character. You’ll hear the sea come to life through music and performance, and see how emotions and stories are conveyed through the instruments. A widely accessible and vivid musical adventure for children in grades 3 through 5.
