Symphonic Junction
Prins S.
and De Geit
× RO
Baaaah! The Hague’s absurdist pop sensation Prins S. en De Geit is heading to PAARD a new, special edition of Symphonic Junction. In this adventurous collaboration between the Residentie Orkest PAARD , symphonic sounds and pop music PAARD together for an evening filled with The Hague’s unique sound, unexpected energy, and of course: bleating.
Prins S. en De Geit traces its roots back to Het Strijkijzer, the iconic apartment building in The Hague where frontman Scott Beekhuizen—also known as Prins S.—met guitarist Marne Miesen. Between games of ping-pong, they discovered their shared love of music and goats. With childhood friend Daniel Ortgiess serving as producer, Prins S. en De Geit was born.
Since then, the band has become an integral part of the Dutch pop scene. With their 2021 debut single “Nacht” and their 2022 album “Rood Staan Hard Gaan, ” they quickly took the stage at venues and festivals such as Noorderslag, Dauwpop, Lowlands, Appelpop, Concert at Sea, Sziget, and Into The Woods. Their performances aren’t just ordinary shows, but full-fledged events where, as Scott puts it, “together, we consciously forget the daily grind for a moment and get lifted up as a whole group.”
