Anything is possible in the world of music
Can You Hear Me? (6+)
Mijs is headstrong, a bit chaotic and has a big heart. But she’s struggling. There's trouble at home, and at school everyone thinks she’s annoying. Worst of all, her mother has passed away. Mijs feels lonely and sad, completely on her own. But just when she's so angry she wants to run away, something magical happens: a mysterious woman appears and leads Mijs into the world of music.
In Can You Hear Me?, Mijs learns that everyone is different, just as every instrument has its own unique sound – but, like an orchestra, we are all connected. The four stories told by the mysterious woman guide Mijs through different instrument families. The orchestra moves between soft, reflective passages and cheerful, exuberant bursts of sound. Along the way, Mijs discovers how instruments can express emotions and tell stories. Can You Hear Me? invites children to listen closely with their ears and hearts, showing that music is a world of its own where anything is possible.
