Together with the Key Keeper and the dream polishers, funny, crazy, and wondrous worlds come to life, filled with instruments and sounds that will make you laugh, move, and dream.

Today is all about curiosity and fun: behind every door awaits a new sound, a cheerful rhythm, or an unexpected instrument. The Thousand Doors of Amare a special performance marking the fifth anniversary of Amare, the cultural heart of The Hague. The Residentie Orkest, conductor Leonard Evers, and the young musicians of the Royal Conservatory take the children on a journey through this musical playground, where listening, discovering, and participating take center stage. Join us on this musical adventure!
Come and play in our Instrument Garden!
Have you ever wanted to play the trumpet, guitar or drums? Discover the joy of making music by playing along with our orchestra musicians before or after the concert. The Instrument Garden will be open before the 11:00 AM performance and after the 1:30 PM performance.
Please note: the age recommendation is a guideline only. We kindly ask parents and carers to determine for themselves whether the performance is suitable for their child, keeping in mind the enjoyment of other visitors.
