Symphonic Junction is back! This edition the Residentie Orkest shares the stage with Blaudzun! With his characteristic voice, poetic lyrics and compelling sound, he has become one of the most idiosyncratic artists in the Netherlands. His music moves between melancholic pop, indie rock and orchestral arrangements, always recognizable by an intense emotional charge. In short, a perfect match with the orchestra of The Hague. On the Last day of February this unique concert will take place in PAARD.

For more than a decade the Residentie Orkest has collaborated with PAARD in the Symphonic Junction series. The concept is a series of special concerts where the boundaries of classical and (pop) music are sought. In each edition, the Residentie Orkest kest enters into a dialogue with an icon from pop music. Previous editions have included Rufus Wainwright, Jane Schra, Hef, Pat Smith, Roos Meijer, Tess Merlot, Supersister and Joep Beving.
