The Residentie Orkest led by our chief conductor Anja Bihlmaier plays at the world-famous Beethoven Festival in Bonn. In collaboration with the Cuarteto Casals string quartet, a work by John Adams will be heard: the six-movement Absolute Jest. Of course the program includes works by Beethoven in the city where the composer was born: his Overture "Coriolan" and the dance-like Seventh Symphony.
