This short but powerful concert will give your weekend a unique twist by introducing you to classical masterpieces. At each edition of RO NOW, the conductor will briefly tell you more about the music, illustrated with examples by the orchestra. You're welcome to join us (and the DJ) for a nice cold drink in the foyer afterwards. First round's on us!
An evening like a musical journey, especially for explorers, go-getters and reveries
A lot of music is made about journeys, treks and walks. Or about the most beautiful landscapes. Rachmaninov's Second Symphony is perhaps one of the finest symphonies in the Russian repertoire. At times brooding and mysterious, at other times intensely dramatic and emotional: you are carried along an endless stream of romantic landscapes. Rachmaninov 2 is the perfect travel music. Even without going anywhere.
