It is picturesque music in which the cellist can put his or her heart and soul. Cellist Jean-Guihen Queyras does not shy away from ingenious scores and lifts Dutilleux' Cello Concerto to new heights.

From Mstislav Rostropovich, for whom Dutilleux composed it, to Nicolas Altstaedt. Dutilleux based his cello concerto on the poetry of Charles Baudelaire.
