Relax and unwind on Sunday morning
Sunday Morning Concert: Mahler & Brahms

Unfortunately, this concert has already taken place. But not to worry! We will be playing many more concerts soon.
Just unwind on Sunday morning with a symphonic reset for your mindset; an ideal come-to-you moment for the rest of your week. Regular guest conductor Jun Märkl poses the question of whether music can approach perfection. The answer? Absolute perfection (thankfully) does not exist, but these works by Mahler and Brahms come pretty close.
The morning begins with Mahler's subtle but moving Rückert-Lieder. This work, where soprano Ruby Hughes takes the solo, proves conclusively that music and emotion are linked. And we continue in deep turmoil with Brahms' Third Symphony. Certainly the famous third movement of the symphony is so beautiful that it becomes almost melancholy. A soulful start to your Sunday morning.
Musical children's workshop
Tip! Especially for kids aged 4 to 12 there is a musical children's workshop during the concert for € 3.50 per child. Please book in advance! The workshop is in Dutch. Book the workshop here >.
