Discover the Orchestra is the complete learning line for primary and special elementary school, which Residentie Orkest organizes in cooperation with KOO. Pupils visit the Residentie Orkest and are also taught by our musicians in the classroom. Together they explore the world of tones, timbres, rhythms and sounds. The Conducting Project in grade 8 is the highlight for many. Students learn the principles of musical conducting at school, and practice it with an ensemble in class.  

Would you like to learn more about Discover the Orchestra? Then participate yourself! On Wednesday, May 10, our Education Department is hosting a special Discover the Orchestra workshop for Friends. There are 30 spots available. You will make your own music and learn to conduct with our ensemble.
