workshopAn interactive visit by one or more classes to the Residentie Orkest. The morning begins with an introduction by a musician from the orchestra. Then the students are given assignments and get to listen to a rehearsal of the orchestra. They sit close to the musicians, giving them a special insight into how an orchestra rehearsal works. After the rehearsal, the students discuss what they have seen and heard. What stood out? We conclude with a workshop on making music, conducting and composing. At the end of Go R.O., the students have a better understanding of how a large symphony orchestra works.
