On February 12, Friends of the “ Residentie Orkest ” will have the special opportunity to attend the school performance of *Hoor je mij?*.

Mijs is headstrong, a little chaotic, and has a big heart. But she feels alone. Things are complicated at home, no one at school seems to understand her, and her mother has passed away. When Mijs gets so angry and sad that she wants to run away, a mysterious woman suddenly appears and takes her into the world of music.

In *Can You Hear Me?*, Mijs discovers that everyone is different—just as every instrument has its own sound—but that, at the same time, we’re all connected. Through four stories, she is introduced to different groups of instruments and learns how music can express emotions and tell stories.
