Stichting Appeltaartconcerten and the Residentie Orkest want classical music to be accessible to everyone. Even for people who do not go to concerts as a matter of course (anymore). Appeltaartconcerten is an initiative in which ensembles give concerts in an old people's home, nursing home or institution.

Thanks in part to the support of the Friends, the Residentie Orkest has been able to perform several Appeltaart concerts for several years.
