Event producer

About the Residentie Orkest

For more than 120 years, the Residentie Orkest has set the tone as a leading symphony orchestra regionally, nationally and internationally, and we are proud of it. With an adventurous and surprising repertoire we bring special, beautiful and relevant compositions to life, but our mission extends beyond the Concert Hall alone. We are at the center of city life in The Hague and want to connect and enrich people-from young to old, from local residents to world citizens. We do this with inspiring educational programs, meaningful social projects and stimulating collaborations with various cultural partners.

Our music tells stories, awakens wonder, invites conversation and touches both the present and the past. The Residentie Orkest therefore matches perfectly with The Hague; the international, diplomatic, political and royal city by the sea.We offer a top quality, contemporary and dynamic musical experience that brings people together and allows them to enjoy themselves.

The Development & Relations (D&R) department is responsible for a diverse and loyal network of funds, partners and corporate and private donors who together form a highly relevant support base for the orchestra. In addition to the subsidy the RO receives from the national government and the City of The Hague, the D&R team works on the management and growth of these relationships and on translating them into activities that are in keeping with the vision and mission of our orchestra. The team consists of five members and has been very successful in recent years in building a valuable network.
