Are you looking for a varied and instructive internship within a dynamic organisation? The Residentie Orkest The Hague is looking for an intern in the Marketing & Communications department who knows how to get down to work. During your internship, you will participate fully in our marketing team and make a valued contribution to a wide variety of tasks.  

Who we are. 

The Residentie Orkest has been setting the tone as a symphony orchestra for nearly 120 years. We are proud of that. We have a broad, surprising and challenging repertoire and perform the finest compositions. But we do more. The Residentie Orkest is at the center of city life in The Hague: we want to connect and enrich. We do this through educational programs, social projects and by entering into stimulating collaborations with various cultural institutions. In this way we build a citywide audience, with residents and partners.   

What will you do? 

• You will assist the marketers in promoting concerts, educational programs and community projects.  

• You will help write, plan, produce and distribute emailings and other marketing materials. 

• You will support in PR-related work and liaise with partners and organizations we work with. 

• You will conceive, produce and post content on our social media channels. 

• You will maintain and enrich the website with magazine articles written by you.  

Your profile 

• Creative, careful and enthusiastic intern at the college level. 

• 3rd or 4th year graduate of a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Commercial Economics or related field. 

• Copywriter, curious and independent. 

• Knowledge and experience with social media platforms. 

• Affinity with culture and performing arts. 

• Preferably lives in The Hague. 

• Available for a minimum of 3 consecutive months for 32 to 40 hours per week.

During your internship, you will be part of Residentie Orkest with the goal of getting to know the organisation with 102 employees from the inside out. You will have your own assignments, perform practical work and be involved in meetings. We offer you:
