Come work at the Residentie Orkest
The Residentie Orkest has an immediate vacancy for a:
FUNDSWERVER (private funds)
About the Residentie Orkest
For more than 120 years, the Residentie Orkest has set the tone as one of the great symphony orchestras of the Netherlands. Besides concert series in home hall Amare, important venues in the Netherlands and sometimes abroad, the Residentie Orkest is at the center of city life in The Hague: we want to connect and enrich. We have a broad, surprising and challenging repertoire and a welcoming profile and perform the most beautiful compositions. But we do more. We do this through educational programs, talent development and social projects, among other things, and by entering into stimulating collaborations with various (cultural) organizations and institutions. This is how we build a city-wide audience, with residents and partners. We are proud of that.
The Development & Relations (D&R) department is responsible for a diverse and loyal network of funds, partners and corporate and private donors who together form a highly relevant support base for the orchestra. In addition to the subsidy the RO receives from the national government and the City of The Hague, the D&R team works on the management and growth of these relationships and on translating them into activities that are in keeping with the vision and mission of our orchestra. The team consists of five members and has been very successful in recent years in building a valuable network.
