The Development & Relations (D&R) department is responsible for maintaining a diverse and loyal network of friends, funds, partners, and corporate and private donors who together form an extremely relevant support base for the orchestra. In addition to the subsidy that the RO receives from the national government and the Municipality of The Hague, the D&R team works on managing and growing these relationships and translating them into activities that are in line with the vision and mission of our orchestra.
The team consists of five members and has been very successful in building a valuable network in recent years.

Friends and Bequests Coordinator (32 hours)
Your impact
The development & relations department is responsible for soliciting donations and other forms of financial support from individuals, companies, and funds, as well as managing the associated relationships.
In your position, you will focus primarily on recruiting, retaining, growing, and developing friends and private donors. You will do this by working with the marketing department to devise campaigns to recruit new friends or get existing friends even more involved with the orchestra, for example, and by organizing relationship-building events such as rehearsal visits or musical lectures.
In addition, you will be involved in relationship management in the area of legacies, maintaining our new circle of legacy donors by developing exclusive communications and organizing meetings.
You will also set up annual campaigns to Residentie Orkest awareness Residentie Orkest the Residentie Orkest among both existing contacts and new target groups.
You are the first point of contact for the board of the Friends of the Residentie Orkest Association Residentie Orkest regularly discuss the details of activities, recruitment campaigns, and donation targets.
Together with your colleagues from the D&R team, you will ensure that fundraising targets are met so that the orchestra's educational, social, and artistic projects can be realized.
What you will do
You identify and exploit opportunities in the private market, and contribute to writing propositions to recruit friends and engage long-term relationships with the orchestra.
In collaboration with the marketing & communications department, you will coordinate marketing activities and campaigns for the development & relations department, aimed at recruiting and further developing new friends, donors, and legacies.
You actively maintain and expand your private network and attend relevant networking events.
You advise and guide people who are considering Residentie Orkest the Residentie Orkest in their will.
As the first point of contact for the board of the Friends of the Residentie Orkest Association, you Residentie Orkest regular contact regarding the organization of activities and will be responsible for the administration of friends and donors in the CRM system.
You monitor the departmental budget relating to your own part of the work.
You will work closely with your colleagues who are responsible for educational, social, and artistic projects to develop effective giving propositions.

Affinity for classical music and/or performing arts is a plus.
You are willing and able to work occasional irregular hours (evenings and weekends).
Knowledge and experience
Minimum higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and thinking, and preferably experience in a similar position.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You have experience working in the Cloud (Office 365).
Knowledge of CRM systems is an advantage.

Salary is based on scale 9 (min. €3,323 and max. €4,880) based on a 40-hour working week; placement within the scale is based on education and experience.
You will also receive (for full-time employment) 47 vacation days, 8% vacation allowance and a year-end bonus of 8.25%.

Ability to work partially from home by mutual agreement;
