We come to people with apple pie and classical music. To touch and move people. We play for people who, for whatever reason, cannot go to a Concert Hall (anymore). Family, friends, neighbors and other lovers of classical music are also welcome at our public concerts.

Those public concerts we give include in community centers, neighborhood theaters and halls of care institutions. There are also private concerts in living rooms in hospices, elderly care facilities and TBS clinics. So sometimes we play a concert for 2, sometimes for 200 people.

Of course, apple pie will be served at intermission. The apple pie symbolizes the safe, warm atmosphere of the concerts. The classical music comes into its own in this atmosphere. The Apple Pie Concerts are also special events for the musicians. Here they have direct, personal contact with the audience.

Both our public Apple Pie Concerts and our private Apple Pie Concerts are informal, approachable, festive and moving. The social effects of the concerts are very important to us.

We have chosen to partner with the Apple Pie Concerts Foundation for the concerts. They share the same "inclusive" mission. Stichting Appeltaartconcerten has been organizing Appeltaartconcerten for five years with great success, and its core musicians have been playing in elder care for 12 years. Apple Pie Concerts Foundation organizes about 175 concerts a year. So there is a lot of expertise there regarding organisation and target audiences.
