Next Saturday, August 28, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw will host Anja Bihlmaier's very first concert as our new chief conductor. She will conduct works by Kodaly, Dvorák and Brahms with soloists violinist Simone Lamsma and cellist Johannes Moser.

General and artistic director Sven Arne Tepl: "Anja already made a huge impression during her debut in November 2018. Every second on stage is 100% music. Anja is a true communicator, she is passionate and demanding. On stage and in the audience you can feel her energy. I am therefore looking forward to her inaugural concert and the many concerts we will give with her."
