Review of Cold days, warm hearts
On Thursday Nov. 13, the first meeting of Cold Days, Warm Hearts took place at the Father Center Adam. While enjoying a free, hot three-course meal, area residents from Laak came together to listen to music and stories around the theme "Humanity."
What does it mean to be there for another person? And how does it feel when someone is there for you? Together with musicians from the Residentie Orkest, speakers from the neighborhoods and various interviewers from Haags Verhaal, we will search in different neighborhoods of The Hague for stories of connection, warmth and hope - combined with music by Schulhoff, Piazzolla and Beethoven, among others.
In a time when society is hardening and differences and problems are the focus of attention, we want to show precisely that humanity connects. Eating together, listening together, talking together - discovering the bright spots in each other. 🫶
