Treat yourself to a musical program interspersed with personal stories for and by informal caregivers while enjoying a snack and drink! On Thursday, November 9, Stichting Wijkz Segbroek & Theater De Regentes organize in collaboration with the cultural anchors Laaktheater, Theater Dakota and Loosduinen/New Waldeck an unforgettable program full of music, personal stories and goodies.The music will be provided by musicians from Residentie Orkest, Julie Scott, Roeland Drost. The participants are coached by the best storytellers in town. During The Day of the Mantelzorg the spotlights are on all Mantelzorgers.

Listen to personal stories of experts who share the beauty of caring with a smile and a tear with each other and the audience. Honest stories about the emotional dilemmas of the city's invisible heroes. Stories that inspire you to share your own experiences with others.Are you a caregiver and would you like to be here? The two programs with the Residentie Orkest are part of a project at four locations in the city, where the Mantelzorger in the Spotlight will be put in the spotlight two more times with a free theatrical treat on Friday, November 10.

Mantel care dinner

On November 10, Resto VanHarte, theater Amare and the Residentie Orkest organize a connecting and festive mantel care dinner. The dinner is intended for informal caregivers.The three-course dinner will feature music by an ensemble from the Residentie Orkest interwoven with personal stories from caregivers themselves. It is a fun and approachable way to connect with other family caregivers.

The dinner starts at 6 p.m. Walk-in is at different times, see sign-up. Caregivers and the person they care for eat free. Registration for the dinner is mandatory and can be done until November 8 via restovanharte.nl/amare2023 or, if necessary, by phone at 0900 900 3030 Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
