Musical appreciation for Hague Caregivers
Music Moves activities around the Day of the Caregiver
The Hague has over 160,000 informal caregivers who care for their loved ones with love and commitment. During the Haagse Mantelzorg Driedaagse, from November 6 to 8, 2025, the Residentie Orkest will put The Hague's informal caregivers in the spotlight by giving a number of musical movement workshops.
These Music Moves projects focus on (frail) elderly people, people with an illness such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's, lonely elderly people, family caregivers and their partners. Social connection is central: by experiencing music together and moving to it, participants are encouraged to actively participate within their own abilities.
