On Saturday , JuneSaturday , Residentie Orkest the Royal Conservatory will launch the first day dedicated specifically to wind and percussion players. Through various workshops, lessons, performances, and play-ins, musicians from the Residentie Orkest Jong KC aim to provide musical support and inspiration to amateur wind and percussion players.

The day begins with a group session in the Conservatory Hall, followed by workshops and other activities in the studios and tuning rooms, and concludes with wonderful performances in the hall. Musicians from the Residentie Orkest teachers from the Royal Conservatory will jointly lead the workshops and lessons, and Cultuurschakel will also be present.

Register for the workshops by May 20; the schedule will follow. The registration forms for ages 8–18 (Jong KC) and ages 19 and up (Residentie Orkest) can be found below.

9:30–10:00 a.m. - WELCOME on the 4th floor in Club 4 (foyer in front of the Conservatory Hall)
10:00–10:30 a.m. - Joint opening in the Conservatory Hall

12:30–1:30 p.m. - LUNCH (in the City Cafeteria on the 3rd floor)

4:00–5:00 PM – Closing presentation in the Conservatory Hall

Cost
Participation in this event costs 15 euros (including a welcome drink and the workshops) or 25 euros (for a welcome drink, a Stadskantine lunch voucher, and the workshops). Additional drinks and refreshments are at your own expense. Family and friends are also welcome to attend the closing presentation (4:00–5:00 p.m., Conservatoriumzaal, 4th floor); registration is not required.

Amare, Spuiplein 150 in The Hague.
The publicly accessible “festival hub” for the day is on the 4th floor (Conservatory), in Club 4, where you’ll find an information desk and various music vendors.
